Secure Indoor Car Storage Near Me In Livonia

by | Sep 4, 2026 | Guides

If you’re searching for indoor car storage near Livonia, you’re probably weighing two things: whether the building is genuinely secure, and whether you’ll actually be able to get your car when you want it.

Those are the right questions. Here’s how we answer them.

Where We Are

We’re on Schoolcraft Road in Livonia, minutes from M-14 and I-275. That puts us within a straightforward drive of Plymouth, Northville, Canton, Farmington Hills, Novi and most of western Metro Detroit.

It’s an industrial stretch rather than a retail one, which is deliberate. The building doesn’t advertise what’s inside it.

What Security Actually Means Here

Plenty of facilities describe themselves as secure without saying what that involves. Ours is straightforward:

The building is monitored by a professional alarm company, with camera coverage and controlled access. It’s a 1950s masonry structure — thick walls, few windows, a single controlled entrance rather than roll-up doors onto a public lot.

What we don’t have: on-site staff overnight, biometric entry, or individual alarms on each car. Facilities that offer those exist and cost considerably more than $350 a month. We’d rather tell you what we have than describe something we don’t.

One more thing worth being direct about — we don’t insure your vehicle. Our insurance covers the building and our operations. Your own policy needs to stay active while the car is with us. That’s standard for storage, but not everyone says it plainly.

Getting Your Car When You Want It

This is where facilities differ most, and it’s the thing people regret not asking about.

Our lobby hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Those aren’t the only hours you can reach your car.

We’ll arrange drop-off and collection around your schedule. And there’s a secure key box at the front door with combination locks inside it, so you can drop a car off or collect one without anyone needing to be here. It works in both directions — not just returns.

If you finish work at six and want your car on Saturday morning, that works. It isn’t an exception we make grudgingly; it’s how the place is set up.

What that looks like by package: Full Service Storage gives you same-day access from April 15 through October 15, and access within 24 hours from October 16 through April 14, with in-and-out privileges included. Year Round Storage gives you access within 24 hours’ notice throughout the year. Winter Storage is designed for a car that’s going away for the season — if you need it out before April 1, that’s $199 per trip, including a handwash and vacuum on return.

The Building Through the Seasons

It’s heated through winter. That matters more than most owners expect, and it’s about rubber rather than paint — tires, seals, bushings and weatherstripping all age faster sitting through a Michigan January in an unheated space.

Through summer, the masonry construction keeps it naturally cool without fighting the heat.

Every package includes a battery tender.

What It Costs

  • Winter Storage — $2,000 for up to six months, roughly October 15 to April 15. $250 deposit, balance due October 1. Handwash and vacuum at both drop-off and collection.
  • Year Round Storage — $350 a month. Month to month, autopay.
  • Full Service Storage — $400 a month. In-and-out privileges, up to a weekly handwash and vacuum.

Storage customers also get 15% off detailing on all their vehicles, and an invitation to our events with a guest.

Come and Look at It

We’d rather show you the building than describe it. If you’re considering storage for this season, come and see where your car would sit.

We have roughly fifty spaces and winter fills up. Call Nate at 248-986-6230, or book online.
